A Few Words About Ellen

I'm Ellen, the owner and founder of North Star Canine. My practices are based on the belief that we all deserve to be understood, and I work hard to extend that compassion to dogs and other beings. I'm a certified trainer, and I specialize in fear and behavior modification.

My goal is to make your training accessible and sustainable. I know that nothing is more frustrating than trying a hundred different leashes, harnesses, collars, treats, and so on just to get your dog to listen. Together, we'll find the right methods and tools for you and your dog.
